Having seen how rewarding it was organising reserve repacks for our club, I'm not throwing any stones at HPAC. I acknowled...

Re: Flying Grouse ...

Get your P3, buy Bill a beer and charm him into sponsoring you as a guest and you to can experience the harrowing fear of "F&%K that's a small landing zone, S#@T those trees are high and this BL**%Y AIR KEEPS LIFTING AND DROPPING ME!" :D Seriously though it is worth it, one of our local instructors ...

Re: Australian Visiting Pilot - September

Generally September is getting towards then end of the flying season which means....anything. It could easily rain for a week, or it could be sunny, glorious and super baked out or you could catch the end of a front and have some beautiful instability to fly for ever. Again generally the air has cal...

Re: LZ equipped with it's very own Brewery?

I for one am super excited, I managed to land there last Saturday despite the deafening radio silence when I asked for directions (I think there was a bit of jealousy, and/or my radio is a bit average). It was great, a nice LZ that is free of rotor from the prevailing up valley flow, short walk to a...

Re: HPAC Finances $176,000...

Maybe the reason many people are indifferent to this issue because they realise that membership dues are a pittance of what they spend on a years flying.
wing ~ $500+ a year
Harness ~ $100 a year
Reserve 60-100 a year
Travel to the Fraser valley $40+ per day.

Re: Repack Event on Wednesday

Sorry Steve I haven't got your name down on my list as having paid, I also can't see you on the 2018 members list, I'll chase that up with the money people.
There is one more spot, so I'll put you down for it and send you the information as soon as I find out what has happened to your payment.
