Just Curious if the site at Mara Lake is been flown anymore ? I looked on Google Earth and it appears like a house and some outbuildings
have been built near the old LZ .

Saw an article in the Alberni Valley News about a paraglider stuck in the trees in Port Alberni,on Canada Day.
Apparently a helicopter and the Alberni Valley Rescue Society dispatched to assist . Anyone know any details ?

FYI, the alert area 145 H has a ceiling of 2500' msl and 4000' msl . Not agl as you have indicated. There is a big difference !
