Castelo, Governador Valadares, + Baixo Guandu: Brazil 2017 with XCBrazil

The Gin Explorer got broken in during an XC course in Valle - now time to put some hours and distance on it in Brazil. Brazilian equivalent of a Rum+chicken sacrifice to Jobu already in the works for sun, light clouds, and a modest tail wind.

Travel Day (nothing particularly exciting) YVR->YYZ->GRU->VIX http://flyinorange.blogspot.com.br/2017 ... rvice.html

Day 1 familiarization flight that could have used a strobe and landing lights by the end of it.

Transfer day from Castelo to GV, stopping for the 'best' coffee in Brazil.

Finally getting caught up after having transitioned the blog to something a little cleaner.

A little one on one time with one of the guides, Rob, in the midst of the Brazilian XC League (90+ competitors). To sum it up: "This is one of those days when you can’t help but love this sport." (and the following flight is even better).
