Swansea - Canmore via Assiniboine Attempt, 08/04

All the recent buzz & inspiration around range-crossing flights (and the arrival of summer in the Kootenays!) & I had to have a go @ the Invermere to Canmore flight, via Assiniboine.

Thursday was definitely the day, great conditions, and a fun attempt. Landed just past the large mine south of Assiniboine. I was on the ground for all of 5 minutes before a truck carrying 2 climbers stopped and picked me up - stoked! Another 10 minutes with my thumb out @ Settlers and 93S and I had a ride back to the Swansea LZ - easy!

First time flying with a GoPro - not great luck, managed to grab a few stills from the short clips of video I didn't botch.
