NOTICE: Bridal Falls UAV Operation (Wed June15)

Just a heads up (so to speak) for pilots in the Fraser Valley. We may have a little company in the "area" of our Launch and LZ at Bridal falls on Wed June 15th. A filming company will be using a Commercial UAV (Drone) doing some photo work east of launch over/at Bridal Falls. They have been provided the photo below indicating where our launch and landing is and the area with the highest potential for traffic.

They indicated that they will be operating close to the surface and should be well clear of us for the noon to 3pm window that they suggested they will be active.

With the weather not looking great, It's possible these dates will change so I will update this post if they need to reschedule.

I doubt that this operation will have any effect on our flight activity and think its great that they reached out to us (as an airspace user) to let us know about their plans.
