Had a nice flight at Blanchard on Sunday. Got there around 1PM, lots of hangies in the air and a little too strong to air the fabric bags out, so I took some video and then we took a hike. An hour later everything was just right. Great ridge soaring conditions, just getting dark a little early these days.
Occasionally a 'Blanchard-Bubble' seems to set up; too windy in the Fraser Valley and further south but Blanchard works. Could be some kind of convergence? But the CanadaRasp windgram shows west everywhere.
